How to Apply
If your organization matches our giving interests, please consider applying for a grant. Follow these two simple steps to submit a grant request to the Five-Thirty Foundation
“ Charity begins at home, and justice begins next door.”

Step One
Reach out and share an informal inquiry featuring an overview of your organization and your interest in our grant program.
Step Two
If the informal inquiry determines that your organization is a strong candidate, you’ll be asked to submit a formal request for a grant. Please include the following information in your request:
- Your organization’s name and EIN
- A grant request letter that details your organization’s mission, history and programs, as well as the proposed use of the grant. This would feature how the grant would address any existing challenges, the population it would serve and hopeful outcomes.
- Your organization’s most recent operating budget and its fundraising status report
- Your organization’s full listing of its board of directors
- Your organization’s current IRS determination letter
